Sans doute LA compile de cette fin d'année! Éditée par Soul Jazz Records et disponible en double CD ou deux double LPs. Une flopée de perles disco-funk plus fabuleuses les unes que les autres proposées en versions maxi avec une remarquable qualité de pressage, sans oublier le traditionnel liner sheet copieusement informatif et frappé de macarons d'origine.
Presque tous les titres sont bons mais je retiens tout particulièrement : "Superfunk" (étourdissant), "The Easton Assassin" (quasi classique), "Dance To The Beat Freakout" (marathonien) "Sweet Lady", "My Man Is On His Way" (grande découverte pour ma part, un pur délice), "Movin To The Beat" (classique à redécouvrir), "Sexy Lady" (la gifle !), ou encore "When Your Jones Come Down" (deuxième gifle !).
