-"The CD booklet notes have nothing much to say about the group but they do mention there was an L.P. by the act which is described as very rare. Does anyone here know about it?"
-"I' m not convinced the LP was ever released. Has anyone got it ?"
-"According to Robert Pruter's notes in the "Chicago Cool Breezin'" set, he states that they released 3 singles & one very rare album, whilst Malcolm Baumgart & Mick Patrick in What More Can A Woman Do? CD, describe it as an impossibly rare album."
-"Thanks, I read those too. But I've been buying soul LPS for 35 years and have never even seen it listed for sale , let alone set eyes on a copy, so it is either the rarest soul LP of all - indeed, " impossibly rare " - or it is just a rumour."
- "It does seem strange, judging by the scant notes not a lot seems to be known about the group, perhaps the LP was never released."
Ha ! Ces promesses non tenues ! Pour la peine une autre version d'un hit de Jackie Wilson "This Love Is Real" enregistré par The Promises, toujours chez BRC :
