Présentation
The Propositions est un groupe originaire de Detroit et composé de 9 adolescents, le plus âgé et leader du groupe, Clarence Bennett, avait 17 ans au moment de l'enregistrement et Mark Justice (guitare) tout juste 15 ans.
Luv N' Haight avait édité un album, Africana (Luv N' Haight LHLP 002, 1992) regroupant des titres de The Propositions datant de 1973. Une version CD d'Africana est parue en 1994 (LHLCD00).

"Funky Disposition" regroupe sur deux CD tous les titres du band dont :
"Something Different" / "Sweet Lucy" (Funk45 FUNK45.013, 2003)
Concernant ce 45T on trouve le nom orthographié ainsi The Prepositions en face A et The Propositions en face B.
"Something Different" est sur la compile The World's Rarest Funk 45s (Jazzman – JMANCD 012, 2006) et sous le nom de The Prepositions. Que de talents, ça pulse, ça groove, le FUNK est dans la place, titre après titre.
