"Rhythm" the aptly titled A-Side, is a Curtis Mayfield penned tune that was a big hit for Major Lance in the Mid-Sixties. The Impressions revive this classic with their iconic sophisticated harmonies and a new horn arrangement by "The 4th Impression", Johnny Pate himself, that moves the song along at a laid back, yet dance friendly pace. This track is Soul of the highest order.

"Star Bright", written by Mr. Griptite is floaty mid-tempo mover, a prayer to love seasoned with a fluttering flute line that will have you longing for that romantic starlit night when the only thing between the one you love and you is, nothing.

Super ce "Rhythm" léger et aérien !

Désolé Bluesy, je suis passé sur le sujet trop rapidement j'avais pas le temps d'aller voir l'explication!
Mais oui c'est bluffant alors!!!

le morceau que tu as mis Bluesy est gentillet par contre...

Je savais que cela allait plaire à RevPop car comme tu le sais, je suis plus pour ceux qui arrachent mon cœur vocalement et donc oui c'est 'posé' mais je trouve ça top de voir ces 'jeunes' artiste produire des 'anciens' qu'ils ont admirés et admirent toujours ; j'imagine que cela doit être un rêve absolu.
C'est un 45T et pas un album, l'autre titre n'est pas disponible sur le tube mais en écoute sur le site de Daptone et aussi sur celui de HHV.de mais je n'ai pas pu l'écouter, aucun son quand je clique et ce quel que soit le site.
