Gros coup de cœur pour le dernier opus de ce groupe (blanc) de San Francisco qui s'éloigne un peu cette fois de sa veine psychédélique habituelle pour délivrer une soul plus épurée et mélodieuse, flirtant parfois avec la northern.
Le fabuleux "Last One Standing" ne devrait pas laisser insensibles les amateurs de Curtis Mayfield.
Un des albums soul les plus inspirés de l'année!
