Hi,
we made this mixtape summarizing what it's called Modern Funk: a lot of boogie synths, sometimes a g-funk feel, vocal or instrumental but always... funky. There are several record labels involved like Omega Supreme Records, Voltaire Rocrods, Cherries Records, MoFunk Records, Voltaire Records Austin Boogie Crew, Star Creatures, or Funk Freaks Records to name a few.
Here's the link if you want to take a listen, you'll discover a lot of new artist doing some incredible music, including Maggo, Dogg Master and Amadeo 85 from France.
