Comme avec Sheryl Swope présenté il y a 6 jours, voici une chanteuse de Chicago qui enregistre à Detroit en étant produite par Robert Eaton, Fred Bridges et Ben Knight, c'est à dire les Brothers of Soul (Boo/Shock/Flick).
1970 pour ce I Wanna Get Back et 1971 pour Heaven And Hell.
Dans les années 80, elle était bien connue en... Angleterre pour Wonderful Night sur Aquarius 4010 (1969)

Et "Wonderful Night" est super dans le genre Northern Soul
Petites précisions picorées sur le web (avec fin tragique) :
"Candace was a school teacher in Chicago", says Fred, "How she met Ric I don't know. When I stayed in Chicago I would stay at her house. I did a lot of writing there for Candace, The Brothers Of Soul and others. Sadly she died of kidney failure. She was a very good friend of mine"
