Présentation
Willie & the Mighty Magnificents est un groupe originaire du New Jersey mené par le guitariste / chanteur Willie Feaster, qui a enregistré pour le label PLATINUM (Joe & Sylvia Robinson).
Le premier 45T date de 1968 : "Check It Baby" et en 1969 "Funky 8 Corners". D'autres singles suivront : "Play That Funky Beat" (initialement intitulé "Concerto In F"), "Make Me Your Slave"/ "Soulin", "Think Funky".
With Skip Sonny And Pace Brothers On Scene '70 (All Platinum AP 3003, 1971)
Des titres sont parus sous différents noms d’artistes comme Willie & West, single : "Get Away From Me Girl" et sous ce même nom un album a vu le jour :
Willie & West - At Their Best (Stang ST-1008, 1971)
Cet album, At Their Best, a été réédité en format CD.
Willie & West - Meet The New Sounds (Outta Sight OSCD030, 2011)
Val Burke
Ressentis
Dommage pas de liens entiers à proposer.
Les titres qui ont ma préférence :
- "Whacha Want Us To Do" (A1) dépote un max
- "It’s No Big" (A3) balance bien
